Saab Aerostructures team on site at Aerospace Testing Expo
Aerospace Testing Expo is an international tradeshow for the aerospace testing, evaluation and inspection sectors. The exhibition takes place between April 5 and April 7, and an estimated total of more than 350 leading international companies are going to participate in the exhibition. Saab Aerostructures is on site in Hamburg with a team, focusing on structural testing.
Aerospace Testing Expo is attended by thousands of visitors from all over the world and is a good opportunity for Saab Aerostructures to establish relationships that can result in new opportunities. The business unit will attend the exhibition together with representatives from Saab Aerosystems, flight test and verification.

- The exhibition is a good opportunity for us to present our knowledge in structural testing. This is the third time we are attending the exhibition. During the years we have established good relationships with a number of companies who have shown interest in what we can offer. The exhibition is a perfect opportunity for us to further enhance those relationships, says Geoff Thompson, Marketing and Sales Director at Saab Aerostructures, who will attend at the exhibition.
Saab has over 50 years of experience of performing structural testing of specimens ranging from small components up to complete airframes, and is well respected in the aerospace industry.
- Historically, we have worked mostly with Saab’s own projects, but now we are expanding and looking for external customers. Combined with our extensive experience of working with testing we are able to provide complete solutions for our customers. We have well equipped facilities and can readily meet the demanding test requirements of the modern aerospace industry.
