Your structural test partner

Very welcome to meet us at the international exhibition for Aerospace Testing, Design and Manufacturing, 15- 17 April, Munich Trade Fair Centre, Germany. We will be located in stand F115.

"We will be on site and are happy to tell you more about our concept and offer," says Jan-Åke Bjärkmar Manager for Structural Testing at Saab Aerostructures. "Over 4000 attendees are expected to come to the exhibition and it is a good opportunity for us to meet customers, partners and media. We will attend the exhibition together with representatives from Saab Aerosystems, Flight Test and Verification."

Structural Testing is a vital part of the development work of aircraft design. For more than 70 years, Saab has performed static and dynamic structural testing of our own aircraft such as Gripen, Saab 340 and Saab 2000 as well as for work-packages that we develop for our partners Airbus and Boeing and their aircraft, for example the A340 and Boeing 787.

Resources and capabilities include ground testing in rigs and labs, measurement and data acquisition systems, flight test instrumentation, test adopted software and support systems for flight testing such as telemetry, flight test control facilities and high speed video systems. The unique rain erosion test proves your material or coating durability in high speed flight through rain.

Our firm belief is that actual testing on full scale specimens will be a requirement for many years to come and every new project will demand some kind of testing. With extensive experience from complete structural testing processes Saab meets and exceeds the demands of today and tomorrow.
