Pontus Kallén, Senior Vice President and General Manager Saab Aerostructures
Every company wants to increase its profitability and competitiveness. At Saab Aerostructures, the tool for doing that is lean. We implement lean principles in many areas of our operations. In this issue of our company news brief you can read more about how we work together with our customer Boeing to exchange experiences in order to further improve our implementation of lean.

This is the last Company News Brief that I am writing as Managing Director for Saab Aerostructures. I am leaving for a new position within the Saab group and Kjell Johnsson is appointed new Managing Director. Kjell will also continue his present appointment as head of Denel Saab Aerostructures in South Africa, 20 percent owned by Saab and 80 percent owned by Denel.
I would like to thank all our customers, partners and suppliers for a good co-operation. It has truly been a pleasure managing this business which I am sure has a bright future ahead. I wish Kjell Johnsson all the best in leading the business unit towards a prosperous future.
Finally, I would like to wish everyone very welcome to meet us at Aerospace Testing, Design & Manufacturing Expo, 15- 17 April in Munich, stand F115.
