Company News Brief - 3/2005
Welcome to the 2005 summer and Le Bourget issue of Saab Aerostructures Company News Brief.
While putting this together rain is falling outside and summer seems slightly remote in northern Europe. I am however positive that this will change and that in four weeks when summer vacation is coming up there will be blue skies and high temperatures. Before dreaming away please let me introduce to you this issue.
Le Bourget, this bi-annual event is coming up in the next weeks and Saab Aerostructures will of course be there during the week. With a limited team we will take all opportunities to discuss with customers, partners and suppliers. Paris Air Show is a magnificent meeting place for the industry, lets hope it will be the same this year as well.
Operations are ongoing with full steam ahead; just recently we delivered our 1000th shipset of ailerons to Airbus Single Aisle Family of aircraft. We are very proud of our operational performances, and we are also very proud of our employees. In this issue you will meet Johan Stark who is our present site manager in South Africa, and Anna Nilsson who will replace Johan after almost two years in the country. The experiences we gain from this kind of exchange with our suppliers are very valuable in bringing you the future in Aerostructures.
