Company News Brief - 3/2006
Very welcome to this summer issue of Saab Aerostructures Company News Brief, our bimonthly newsletter.
When looking back at the first half of 2006 I must say that it has been a very intense and exiting year so far. A very important milestone was passed when the first test doors for B787 was delivered to Boeing, to be used in the Barrel Test. And some weeks ago we won a renewed contract with Airbus UK valued at over 60 million US dollars, for the supply of ailerons for wings of the Airbus single aisle aircraft family.

With more business projects going on then ever before and in the same time being in the middle of reorganization makes us all pushing the limits of the achievable.
Farnborough is coming up next week. The Saab Group will put focus on the growth of the company. Saab Aerostructures does contribute positively to the extension of the company, since Saab and Denel of South Africa have signed an agreement regarding the creation of a new aerostructures company in South Africa. You will learn more about it in this issue of our Company News Brief.
Saab Aerostructures will be at Farnborough with a small management team. You are very welcome to visit us in our Chalet located at row C 24-26 during the exhibition week.
I wish you all a successful exhibition and a nice summer.
Pontus Kallén, Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Saab Aerostructures
