Current projects
Airbus A380
Saab Aerostructures develops and manufactures the Mid and Outer Leading Edges of the Airbus A380 wing. The work package is a primary structure package that includes development, design and industrialization of a metallic design, based on new materials and extensive use of high speed machining.
Airbus A340, A500, A600
Saab Aerostructures develops and manufactures the Pylons Rear Secondary structure, Pressurized Lateral Floor and main Landing Gear Door for the Airbus A340-500/600 airliner. The assemblies cover technologies from conventional metallic structures to complex integrated composite designs.
Airbus A318/319/320/321
Saab Aerostructures manufactures the Ailerons for the Airbus A320 family. The product is an assembly including detail parts of more or less an al composite design.

Airbus A400M
Saab Aerostructures is responsible for development, production and support of the crew entrance door for the A400M military transport aircraft.
Boeing 787 Dreamliner
Saab Aerostructures designs, develops and manufactures the Large Cargo Doors, Bulk Cargo Door and Access Doors for the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. New CFRP technologies, Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic, are used to give lower manufacturing costs and lower weight.
JAS 39 Gripen
Saab Aerostructures develops and manufactures the entire structure for the JAS 39 Gripen. Manufacturing covers all aspects from conventional metallic fabrication and assembly, to advanced integrated designs in carbon fiber technology. The latest design includes monolithic structures that reduce the fabrication, assembly and logistics costs.

Eurocopter
Saab Aerostructures manufactures for Eurocopter complete forward fuselage structures of the NH90 helicopter (NHInudstries). The manufacturing is concentrated to carbon fiber parts and assemblies for this advanced all composite helicopter structure.
Saab 340 and 2000
Saab Aerostructures manufactures a wide range of spare parts for the Saab 340 and 2000 aircraft. Manufacturing cover various technologies from conventional metallic parts and assemblies to integrated composite assemblies in Kevlar- or carbon fiber technology. Saab Aerostructures handles repair of major units as well as support with design and stress engineering capacity.
Saab Ericsson Space
Saab Aerostructures manufactures, as the prime supplier, components and assemblies for Saab Ericsson Space structural divisions. Manufacturing is concentrated to Antenna systems, satellite adapters and structural parts for satellites in composite.
