Saab’s commitments include the following:

Fairness in relation to suppliers

Saab expects fair competition and applies the same standards in dealing with suppliers. You should not favor any person based on anything other than the best interests of Saab. Your personal interests should never influence the business decisions you make on behalf of Saab. 

No tolerance of corrupt behavior

Saab’s reputation for honesty and integrity can not be put at risk by the offer of improper payments. In dealing with public officials, party officials or any person in the private sector, Saab shall neither offer, promise nor give any undue payment or other advantage to obtain or retain business. We will not tolerate bribery or any attempt through gifts, payments or favors to influence improperly our customers’ or suppliers decisions. 

Payments to intermediaries

Any payments to agents, advisers, consultants, suppliers, and other partners must be based only on the products or services purchased and market conditions and never on improper or illegal considerations. 

Gifts & other benefits

Employees may not offer, make or seek gifts, payment, entertainment or services to actual or potential business partners which could reasonably be believed to influence business transactions and are not customary business hospitality or prohibited by applicable law.

Conflicts of interest

Employees must avoid conflicts between private interests and the company’s business. We should not allow business dealings on behalf of the company to be influenced by personal preferences or relationships. If any uncertainty
exists, employees should refer the issue to their business unit management.
If the issue is not resolved, the business unit management and/or the employee as appropriate should refer the matter to the Corporate Social Responsibility Council. 

Intellectual property rights of others

Employees should not obtain confidential information of other parties by improper means or disclose it without authorization. 

Recording transactions

Each Saab business unit must accurately reflect its transactions in the company’s account and report them in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
