Creating stronger workplaces

Our employees provide the foundation for Saab’s success.

Their knowledge, talent and hard work – in short, their expertise and ambition – allow Saab to effectively serve our customers. Saab provides a workplace that supports our employees’ efforts and demonstrates the company’s value for them. To strengthen our workplaces, we expect that all employees will show mutual respect and consideration for one another and share opinions constructively.

Saab’s commitments include the following:

Non-discrimination

We do not accept decisions based on ethnic or national origin, race, age, gender, disability, religion, sexual orientation, trade union membership or political view.

Child or forced labor

We neither use nor tolerate the use of child labour. A ”child” includes any person below 15 years of age, unless local legislation sets a lower or higher age for labour or compulsory school attendance. Also we neither use nor support forced labour.

Labor relations

We respect all employees’ right to form or join a trade union. Representatives for trade unions must not be subjected to improper discrimination. Saab will give official representatives for trade unions access to trade union members and their work places.

Wages & salaries

Our employees’ conditions follow the laws and contracts in every country and state where Saab operates.

Health & safety

We expect our employees to show commitment to health and safety and to eliminate work-related accidents, illnesses and injuries by following relevant policies.

Employee information

We treat employee personal data in strict confidence. To safeguard our business operations employees may be required to undergo background checks.
