Environmental policy

The aim of Saab’s environmental policy is to ensure that customers’ requirements and legal statues are met, and to contribute to the sustainable development of the society.

Through a well structured environmental work and continuous improvements, the environmental influence from plants, products and services shall be minimized, as far as is technically possible and economically reasonable.

This will be achieved through:

• implementing environmental management systems that fulfil the requirements in ISO 14001
• identifying and minimizing the environmental risks of products and operations
• minimizing the use and emissions of hazardous substances/materials, and making effective use of energy and natural resources
• complying with applicable regulations and with other requirements within the environmental field
• affirming an attitude of openness in communicating our environmental work
