Risk assessments work

Saab surveys its operations and properties, historical and current, to assess if Saab or its subsidiaries are exposed to risks due to land contamination. When a contaminated area is identified, liability is investigated and an overall environmental risk assessment is made. Information on contaminated areas is documented on an ongoing basis.

Routines to carrying out risk assessments

To reduce risks to humans and the environment in the operations, routines have been developed and introduced to carrying out risk assessments. Strict routines have been implemented to control and monitor the handling of chemicals. Special chemical groups etc are in place to assess and approved chemicals used within the business units.
