When procuring systems, developing new functions or increasing capacity it is important, in addition to the technical requirements, to also consider reliability, user environment, maintenance and not least, Life Cycle Costs.

Within all of these areas Saab has in-depth competence and broad experience. We use well-tried tools and methods so that our customers can complete their procurements as well as being verified that the objective of a procurement has been fulfilled.

Typical services during the whole acquisition process are:
- Pre-studies
- Needs and requirement identification
- Modelling and simulations

- Theoretical analyses, practical analyse through laboratory work and tests of prototypes
- Acquisition specifications and reviews of quotations
- Contract specifications
- Follow-up and review of suppliers´commitments
- Development of test specifications
- Verification and validation of requirement fulfilments through document reviews, laboratory tests and test in target enviroment.
- Delivery inspection and control
